The Call for Equality: Mutual Respect Between the Sexes

Society refers to a highly integrated group. We have already identified the unresolved issues within this framework. It is now time to explore the significance of the individual. Gender equality(SDG 5) is an important goal for achieving social equality. Although this is a commonly addressed topic, it still faces many obstacles and difficulties. For the rights of half the population, we need to confront this issue. In this section, you will be presented with a wealth of data and artworks related to gender equality. You will be able to perceive the importance that the community places on gender equality and the efforts they have made to achieve it.

Chapter 1: Gazing and Training: Female Images in History

Throughout the course of history, the image of women has always been under a dual tension: they are both the objects of observation and the carriers of social norms. From ancient myths to feudal dynasties, the roles of women have been endowed with culturally symbolic meanings while also being shaped and constrained by gender hierarchies.

Chapter 2: Interior and Exterior: Segregated Areas

Examining how the division between "public" and "private" domains restricts women's activity space and power.

In past cultures, women were often regarded as symbols of the family. In artistic works, they were frequently depicted in scenes of domestic labor. On the one hand, this reflects the past status and role of women, while on the other, it restricts their power and possibilities. Culture is both a form of expression and a guiding force. In artistic works, social implications and demands are constantly hidden.

Chapter 3: Struggle and Expression: Breaking the Silence

With the advancement of gender equality and the rise of female consciousness, more and more artists are using their works to speak out for themselves. They choose to confidently and freely express their true selves, denouncing discrimination and abuse, and conveying the importance of equality to society. In the world, all beings are equal. Respect for others is essential.
